Tamron Hall leaves NBC

“Today” show co-host Tamron Hall has left NBC News, as expected.

The New York Daily News reports that Hall, 46, is leaving both NBC and MSNBC, where she hosted her own show, after learning she would lose her job hosting the third hour of “Today.”

Hall joined MSNBC and NBC News in 2007, and became part of “Today” in 2014.

She was offered a multimillion dollar, multiyear deal to stay on “Today” and continue hosting her show on cable — but turned the deal down, insiders said.

Hall’s departure comes as a confirmation of rumors of some shuffling around at the “peacock network” to make room for media star and former Fox News Channel star, Megyn Kelly, who will launch her own hour of “Today” next fall.

“Tamron Hall will be leaving NBC News and MSNBC when her contract expires this month,” NBC News officials said in an internal memo obtained by the Daily News.

Tuesday was Hall’s last day as an anchor on both networks.

“We valued and enjoyed her work at ‘Today’ and MSNBC and hoped that she would decide to stay. We are disappointed that she has chosen to leave, but we wish her all the best.”
